Roy Morey visited Big Bend for the first time in 1986. Since then, he has photographed 700-800 plant species. Roy has done landscape photography in national parks across the country. Roy is the author of "Little Big Bend: Common, Uncommon, and Rare Plants of Big Bend National Park" published through the Texas Tech University Press. Roy continues to photograph Big Bend flora, hoping someday to record the estimated 1300 species in this area.
